This humidifier/diffuser hybrid product requires good quality essential oil if one wishes to use it as a diffuser. It is strongly recommended not to use it with inferior essential oil. If it produces an unlikely odour, please kindly use water-soluble essential oil and add 2 drops only into the water. If the essential oil is of inferior quality, the oil will block the cotton filters and the resultant mist may corrode the product’s core.
